Objective:  Inspire each to live worthy of God’s love that He has already demonstrated.

      Certainly the Bible is adamant about our being saved by “faith”.  There is also ample stress on “grace”, on “duty” and “obedience” to commandments.  All these things are Biblical and of vital importance, but they all relate best from an inner motivation of love.  Consider with me, how love relates to all of God’s expectations on man.

It does matter how Christians live.  If we claim to be children of God, then; we must live like God’s children.  The Apostle, in this letter, relates some expectations and requirements for people in order to legitimately consider themselves Christians.
