If someone’s physical ailments are misdiagnosed, the person is neither assisted nor healed and most likely comes away disgusted. Similarly, our spiritual ailments need to be properly diagnosed. This section of Scripture 5:14 sets out several examples of spiritual diagnosis and appropriate spiritual prescriptions in concise and understandable order.
